In this map are tax reverter properties owned by Artesian Equities, LLC. Reverters are properties that were purchased on auction from Wayne County, but have once again fallen behind on taxes. A 2011 law introduced "reverter" clauses in the purchase agreements during the auction, to allow the County to take back properties if property taxes were not paid. However, the County did not foreclose on Artesian Equities' tax reverter properties. These 113 reverters owe taxes back to 2012 - the tax year that triggered foreclosure for everyone else in 2015.
